After trailing 7-0, the UCLA women's basketball started making its shots and forcing turnovers to claw its way to a 25-21 halftime lead over Louisiana State on Tuesday at Pauly Pavilion.
UCLA, ranked No. 9 in the nation, took its first lead of the half with 9:01 remaining whenMarkel Walkermade one of two free throws. The Bruins forced 13 turnovers, while only committing eight and outshot the Lady Tigers 40% to 30.4%.
