USC football: Nine Trojans selected in NFL draft | The Fabulous Forum | Los Angeles Times

Six players were selected Saturday in rounds four through seven, giving USC a total of nine draft picks.

On Thursday, offensive tackleTyron Smithwas chosen with the ninth pick by the Dallas Cowboys.

On Friday, defensive tackleJurrell Caseyand cornerbackShareece Wrightwere third-round picks by the Tennessee Titans and San Diego Chargers, respectively.

The Cleveland Browns drafted tight endJordan Cameronin the fourth round Saturday. ReceiverRonald Johnsonwent to the San Francisco 49ers in the sixth round and tailbackAllen Bradfordwas chosen five picks later by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

On consecutive picks in the seventh round fullbackStanley Haviliwent to the Philadelphia Eagles, receiverDavid Ausberrywas selected by the Oakland Raiders and linebackerMalcolm Smithwas taken by the Seattle Seahawks and former USC coachPete Carroll.
