There was nothing Quick could do 30 seconds later, whenDanny Clearycharged down the slot, reached out and redirectedJiri Hudler’spass into the net for a 2-1 lead.
Nicklas Lidstrom’sblue-line shot threaded its way through five players for a power play goal and 3-1 lead.
