President Obama picks Connecticut to three-peat as women's champion | The Fabulous Forum | Los Angeles Times

Obama_300Taking the same approach he did withhis men's bracket, President Obama picked all four top seeds (Connecticut, Baylor, Stanford and Tennessee) to advance to the Final Four of the NCAA women's tournament.

Obama, who has other things to deal with rather than putting a lot of thought into his tournament brackets, also is going the low-risk route in choosing the eventual winner -- the two-time defending champion Huskies, who have lost just one game since he took office.

The president is picking Baylor to take on the Huskies in the final, which would give the Lady Bears a chance to avenge a one-point loss to Connecticut earlier this season.

It's the second straight year Obama has filled out a women's bracket for ESPN. Last year he correctly chose Connecticut to defeat Stanford in the championship game.
